Shipping Schedule

We ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Depending on the destination and the weather conditions we may not ship out orders until the following week. We want to prevent the chocolates from melting and/or getting held up at a shipping facility that is not temperature controlled. Our goal is for you to receive our  best tasting chocolates in pristine condition.

Processing Times

Our chocolates are handcrafted and fresh, we do our best to make sure that every order is shipped within 24-72 hours upon receipt of the order during business days. Please note that order processing time may be longer during holiday time periods

Fedex Shipping

We use fedex express to ship next day or 2 day making sure the chocolate arrives on time and in prime condition. If you aren’t delighted with the chocolate, please contact us sales@hamptonchocolatefactory.com

Warm Weather Packaging

During heat waves and summer months we insulate each shipment with reusable gel ice packs and insulated cooler bags. If the chocolate is passing through a state with a temperature above 70°F we will insulate your shipment. We do not offer ground shipping due to the ice packs melting in 24-48 hours.

FREE In Store Pickup

Place your order and select “in-store pickup” if you are within the pickup radius. Our store is located at:

Returns:

Undeliverable Or Returned Packages

Due to chocolate being a perishable product, our no melt guarantee is valid only on correctly addressed orders on the first delivery attempt. We will ship your order to the shipping address(es) you provide during checkout. We cannot guarantee the condition of the package if the carrier reroutes your order or if the package is held due to incorrect address information.

The Hampton Chocolate Factory is not responsible for failed deliveries when:

  1. An incorrect or outdated address was provided.
  2. The address does not contain a valid suite or apt number when one is necessary for delivery.
  3. The recipient is out of town or not available.

Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses will be subject to additional charges for reshipment based upon the carrier fees. The extended transit time during the reroute may result in melted or expired chocolates. Returned items cannot be resold or reshipped. A replacement order of fresh chocolates will be offered at various discounts depending on the situation.

Melted Chocolate

The Hampton Chocolate Factory offers a No Melt Guarantee. If your chocolate arrives melted due to hot weather, we will replace it. Please contact our Chocolate Concierge within (48) hours of receipt, with a detailed description and photographic evidence of the issue, and our team will assist with a replacement or exchange.

Damaged Items

We’re so sorry to hear this! Please contact our Chocolate Concierge within 3 days of delivery with your order number as well as details and photos of the damage or defect. Please share photos that include:

  • A photo of the area of concern
  • Two full shots of the product (from the side and overhead)
  • A shot of the packaging/box
